Adrian Diaz-Lopez was recently named the school’s February 2022 Male Athlete of the Month.
Diaz-Lopez, a member of the 2021 national championship cross country team and Tiger track and field team, is the defending national champion in the indoor 3,000-meter run and the JUCO Division II national champion in the fall for cross country. He is the current school record holder in the indoor and outdoor 5,000-meter run, indoor 3,000-meter run, mile-run, and also played a major part in the school record breaking distance medley relay team as well.
The business administration major has a 3.73 grade point.
