Burke named cheer coach at Cowley College

Cowley College is excited to announce Brandon Burke as its new cheer coach. Burke is a proud graduate of Cowley College, holding a degree in Education with a concentration in Child Development. Coach Burke's cheer experience started as a member of the Newkirk High School Cheer Team where the squad were OSSAA Region cheer champions, Spirit Fest champions, and he was an All-Region cheerleader.

He continued his cheer career as a member of the Cowley College spirit squad. He competed at the UPA Americup Nationals before competing at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. He was also an Advanced Cheer Crew All Star cheerleader and certified UCA Cheer Camp Instructor.  

Coach Burke also works as an admissions representative at Cowley College. He and dance coach Lindsay Sanderholm are excited to get the season started and continue the winning tradition of Cowley cheer.
