Deshawn is primarily a middle distance runner for the track team and this year will be his first year of XC.
The Cowley College men’s and women’s track and field teams had two separate squads travel to compete this past weekend, with most of the team resting.
The Cowley College men’s and women’s track and field teams traveled to compete at the KT Woodman Classic at Wichita State University, where the Tigers battled high winds on Saturday. Despite the conditions, the Tigers had another very good showing.
The Cowley College men’s and women’s track and field teams recently competed at the Shocker Spring Invite, hosted by Wichita State University, for their second competition of the 2024 outdoor schedule.
With Cowley College freshman Victor Morfin winning the conference and region title in the high jump, the Tigers placed third in the Jayhawk Conference Eastern Division and fifth in the region while competing at the conference/region championships in Pittsburg, KS.
This past weekend, the Cowley College men’s and women’s track and field teams traveled to Topeka, KS, to participate in the Washburn University Rust Buster.
