Six Lady Tiger soccer players named all-conference performers

Recognized for their stellar play during the 2022 soccer season, six members of the Cowley College women's soccer team were named all-conference performers.

Sophomore midfielder Esther Attwood (two goals, five assists), freshman midfielder Nanaka Inaba (five goals, nine assists), and sophomore defender Angela Gatto (three goals) were named First Team All-Jayhawk West performers. While, freshmen Lea Evin (seven goals, two assists) and Laura Pouedras (four assists) joined sophomore midfielder Lina Fasquelle (five goals, five assists) as Second Team selections.

"We had a good squad this season, and I am happy to see these players recognized," Cowley head coach Roberto dos Santos said. "Each are solid players, and the recognition is well deserved. We look forward to having Nanaka, Lea, and Laura back to lead the team next season."

Hutchinson, which finished the season with a record of 14-4, swept the major conference awards with Hadlie Lowe being named Player of the Year, Lexi Jack selected as Defensive Player of the Year, and Sammy Lane named Coach of the Year.
