2019-2020 Athlete of the Year

Elizondo was a five-time track All-American and a seven-time Region VI champion. She is the school-record holder in the 1,000-meter run, mile-run and helped the 2019 indoor track distance medley relay team and 2019 outdoor 4x800-meter relay team finish as the national runner-up.

During the 2019 cross country season she placed third in the conference and fourth in the region as she helped the Lady Tigers capture the Region title and place eighth at nationals. She was named Cowley College's February 2020 Student of the Month and has signed a letter of intent to continue running at NCAA Division I Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.
