Cowley cheer and dance teams named region champs

The Cowley College cheer and dance teams recently placed first at the Region VI championships held at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, KS. 

The competition included junior college cheer and dance teams from throughout Kansas. The Cowley cheer team was named region champion in the Large Coed Intermediate Division. The Tigerette dance team placed second in the pom division and was named region champion in the Team Performance Division. The teams are coached by Lindsay Sanderholm and Brandon Burke.
