Bio

Brandon Burke begins his third year as coach of the Co-Ed Cheer Squad. Burke is a proud graduate of Cowley College, holding a degree in Education with a concentration in Child Development. Burke is a certified USA Cheer Coach Member. Former UCA Cheer Camp Instructor. 

Originally from Newkirk, Oklahoma, Coach Burke’s cheer experience started as a member of the Newkirk High School Cheer Team, where the squad was four-time OSSAA Region cheer champions, two-time Spirit Fest champions, and an All-Region cheerleader. Prior Burke cheered under the direction of Kristi Shaw at Advanced Cheer Crew All-Star squad. He went beyond the limits and continued his cheer career as a member of the Cowley College spirit squad. He competed at the UPA Americup Nationals before advancing to Northwestern Oklahoma State University. 

Burke and Sanderholm have led the Co-Ed Cheer Squad to first place at the 2022 Region IV championship, the 2022 Cheer Ltd National Championship, and 2023 Cheer America National Championship. 

Coach Burke is beginning his eighth year as an admissions representative at Cowley College. 

Burke has one son, Eyzic Dean.
