The Lady Tigers place 10th at the NJCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships held in Hutchinson, KS. The Tiger men finished in 22nd place out of 35 teams at the national meet.

With the conference and region championships less than a week away, the nationally ranked Cowley College men and women’s outdoor track and field teams got in a final tune-up by competing at the Southwestern College Relays Saturday in Winfield, KS.

Competing in cool, windy conditions Saturday in El Dorado, KS, the Cowley College men and women’s outdoor track and field teams had some solid performances at the Grizzly Classic.

Cowley College sophomore Diego Andres-Dougan highlighted the list of Tiger athletes competing this past weekend at the Wichita State University KT Woodman Classic. Andres-Dougan placed seventh in the 110-meter hurdles with a school-record time of 14.52. Andres-Dougan previously shared the school-record time of 14.57 with Bryan Jasmin.

Continuing to increase its number of participants at each meet, the nationally ranked Cowley College men and women's track and field teams competed at the Friends University Spring Open Friday and Saturday in Wichita, KS.

The Cowley College men and women’s track and field teams took a limited number of athletes to compete at the Herm Wilson Invite held Friday and Saturday inside Wichita State University’s Heskett Center. Among the notable performances were Lady Tiger sophomore Kayla McClellan winning the weight throw and men’s sophomore Diego Andres-Dougan placing first in the triple jump and winning his heat in the 60-meter hurdles.

Already the school-record holder in the indoor and outdoor 5,000-meter run, Cowley College sophomore Adrian Diaz-Lopez continued to etch his name into the history books as he broke the school-record in the mile-run held Saturday at the Washburn University All-Kansas Meet in Topeka, KS.

The Cowley College men and women’s indoor track and field teams are excited about the upcoming season as they have added some talented freshmen to go along with several returning athletes. The Tiger indoor track and field teams will open the season Saturday at the Washburn University Rust Buster in Topeka, KS.
