Rossana Papa, Women's Volleyball

Rossana Papa was recently named the school’s September 2023 Female Athlete of the Month.

Lady Tiger volleyball setter Rossana Papa is a three-time All-American who returned this year after a serious injury. She leads the NJCAA and the KJCCC in assists per set at 12.07. She has recorded six double-doubles, has been named Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Setter of the Week five times, and ranks third in the NJCAA in total assists at 917.

She is third in the KJCCC in aces per set and recently passed Caroline Foster for fourth place all-time in Cowley history in career assists at 2,456. Papa leads an offense that is ranked No. 1 nationally in total points, hitting percentage, and kills per set.

She is majoring in Biomedical Engineering and has a GPA of 3.5.
