Bio

Bob Sneller, an Arkansas City native, played basketball and tennis for Arkansas City Junior College and graduated in 1949. He won a state doubles championship in tennis with partner Bill Bailey.

Active in journalism and forensics while at ACJC, Sneller went on to become a sportswriter for the Arkansas City Traveler. He still writes a weekly column for the Neosho Daily News and works part-time for Crowder College, where he retired as a coach, athletic director, and instructor. He also coached junior college basketball for 23 years, and won a national championship at Independence in 1963.
