Helping lead the Cowley College women's soccer team to its first-ever district title and victory at the NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championships, Lady Tiger head coach Roberto dos Santos was named the Coach of the Year in the conference and region for the second time in the past three seasons.

"Being recognized by my peers is an honor and I thank them for this award," dos Santos said.

Cowley's First Team all-conference selections were freshman defender Sthefany da Silva, sophomore forward Lucia Rivas (10 goals, four assists), sophomore midfielder Nanaka Inaba (six goals, nine assists), and sophomore goalkeeper Kanon Dehama (five shutouts, 1.15 goals against average).

Freshman defender Manuela Gorny and sophomore midfielder Laura Pouedras (one goal, five assists) were named Second Team all-conference.

"I am really happy for them, this is well deserved recognition," dos Santos said.
