For her efforts, she was given the Director's commendation for a national running competition, named best player in the tournament, and other special awards.

"Noemi is an outstanding player and a great addition to our program. She will add a dominant presence to our offense and defense with her athleticism, volleyball IQ, and court awareness," Cowley head coach Steven Gream said. "Noemi is a strong and aggressive middle who puts up a solid block and can attack opponents with a variety of sets with speed and power. These attributes are perfect for our style of play at Cowley. Her national team experience will be invaluable as she makes the transition to the college game. We are excited to have her as a part of our program at Cowley."

Nyers is the daughter of Dr. Tamas Nyers and Adrienn Nyers of Szeged, Hungary.
