Tiger tennis teams do well at Tiger/Jinx Tourney

With the Cowley College men's tennis team playing matches in Winfield and the Lady Tiger tennis players competing in Arkansas City, both squads had solid showings at the Tiger/Jinx Tournament played Saturday and Sunday.

First place finishers for the Tiger men were Aymeric Bruno in the Singles Draw A, Enzo Frequelin in Singles Draw B, Frequelin and Ugo Fiorito in Doubles Draw B, and Patrick McGee and Colby Klotz in Doubles Draw C.

The Lady Tigers were led by Andrea Rodriguez placing first in Singles Draw A and Rodriguez and Ane Ibarra winning Doubles Draw A.

"Overall I was pleased with how all of our players performed over the weekend," Cowley head coach Manuel Raga said. "We had some great results in both the men and women's teams and I am looking forward to watch them compete again."
