Thrasher leaving Cowley after 10 years as an assistant

Preparing to enter his 30th year in coaching, Cowley College women’s basketball assistant coach Troy Thrasher will dip his toe back into the head coaching waters after being hired by NCAA Division III Richland College in Dallas, TX.

Playing in one of the more difficult arenas in the conference, the Cowley College women’s basketball team had its two-game winning streak halted with a 91-70 loss at Hutchinson Community College Wednesday night at the Sports Arena. The victory improved the Lady Blue Dragons’ record at home to 12-0 on the season.
