Cowley College’s Hanna Darvas was recently named the school’s September 2024 Female Athlete of the Month. 

Darvas is a freshman setter for the top-ranked Lady Tiger volleyball team. She leads the NJCAA and KJCCC in assists per set while recording five double-doubles.

Darvas has been named the Setter of the Week four times this season and was recently named the NJCAA DII Offensive Player of the Week and the AVCA national Two-Year College Offensive Player of the Week.

With Darvas setting up the Lady Tiger hitters, Cowley broke the NJCAA Division II record for wins in a row.

The mass communications major has a GPA of 4.0.
