Burroughs and Hargrove named Coaches Legacy Award recipients

The NJCAA has announced its first-ever honorees for the Coaches Legacy Awards presented by Nufabrx, which recognizes the all-time winningest coaches in NJCAA history. This is the first time in the nearly 90-year history of the NJCAA that coaches have been recognized in such a fashion by the Association. Former Cowley College baseball coach Dave Burroughs and softball coach Ed Hargrove were among the Coaches Legacy Award recipients.

The right-handed pitcher will be forever immortalized when she is inducted into the Tiger Athletic Hall of Fame on February 1, 2025.

Tennis standout now doing big things while coaching at the NCAA DI level

A native of Brockenhurst, England, Lloyd Bruce-Burgess was a two-time JUCO All-American at Cowley College, where he was ranked No. 3 and No. 2 by the NJCCA in singles and doubles, respectively, on a team ranked sixth nationally. The former Tiger standout has gone on to become one of the top young coaches in all of the NCAA Division I and will be inducted into the Tiger Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, February 1.

Lana (Da Silva) Milner is the only Cowley College graduate to win a national championship as a player and a coach.
