Cowley College basketball player Elysa Martinez was recently named the school’s March 2025 Female Co-Athlete of the Month.

Elysa Martinez made quite an impression on the Lady Tiger basketball program in her one season at the school.

The sophomore transfer was named the Jayhawk East Newcomer of the Year and a First Team all-conference selection.

Martinez averaged a team-high 17.3 points to go along with 4.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 4.0 steals per game.

Martinez helped Cowley win 21 games during the 2024-25 season. The secondary education major has a GPA of 3.65.
