King named Third Team all-conference basketball selection

One season after averaging just 5.2 points per game as a member of the Cowley College men's basketball team that finished as the national runner-up, Clarence King improved his scoring up to 16.4 points per game. Adding 5.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists, King was named a Jayhawk Conference Eastern Division Third Team selection.

Cowley head coach Donnie Jackson said King is very deserving to be named an All-KJCCC performer.

"He took a huge step as a player this year and really carried us offensively," Jackson said. "To be recognized as one of the top 15 players in the Jayhawk is quite an accomplishment."

King also led Cowley with an average of 1.5 steals per game.
