Soccer teams gearing up for national tournament in Wichita
The Cowley College men's and women's soccer teams qualified for the NJCAA Division I National Soccer Championships to be held November 17-23 at the SCHEELS Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita.
The Tiger men (14-1-3) earned the fourth seed and will open play on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. when they take on ninth-seed Miami Dade Community College. Cowley will then face fifth-seed Arizona Western on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
The Lady Tigers (11-5-3) are the 11th-seed and will face seventh-seed Daytona State on Monday at 12:30 p.m. before taking on second-seed Seminole State College on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m.
