Lady Tigers land seven players on All-District team
Finishing second in the Jayhawk Conference Division B, the No. 17-ranked Cowley College softball team landed seven players on the list of All-District selections.
The Lady Tigers (34-19) were led by the following First Team selections: infielder Dezmen Duncan (.387 average, 39 stolen bases), outfielder Paige Hughes (.459 average, 39 stolen bases), and pitchers Brooke Mason (16-9, 2.91 earned run average) and Ashlynn Mercer (15-7, 3.46 ERA).
Infielder Micah North (.283 average, 20 RBI), outfielder Tatyana Curry (.366 average, 17 stolen bases), and designated player Kayla McClellan (.375 average, 59 RBI) were named Second Team All-District selections.
