Cole named KJCCC Division II Softball Player of the Week

Cowley College sophomore shortstop Maci Cole continued her assault on opposing pitching by going 9-for-17 with four home runs, two doubles, eight runs batted in, and eight runs scored as the Lady Tiger softball team went 3-1 on the week. Cole was named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division II Softball Player of the Week for her efforts.

Cole homered in four straight games and has helped the No. 16-ranked Lady Tigers win 31 of its past 33 games.

For the season, Cole is hitting .439 with 19 home runs and 60 RBIs. She also has 14 doubles, nine stolen bases, three triples and leads the Tigers in runs scored with 65.
