Cole named two-time NJCAA Division II Softball All-American

Helping the Cowley College softball team to a No. 16 national ranking, a conference title, and a record of 40-15, sophomore shortstop Maci Cole was recently named an NJCAA Division II Third-Team All-American.

After garnering All-American honors as a freshman while batting .486 with 14 home runs, 20 doubles, and 62 runs batted, Cole followed up that success by batting .426 with 24 home runs, 14 doubles, and 69 RBI as a sophomore.

She added 36 career stolen bases and nine triples as she helped Cowley win 78 of 107 career games and go 47-7 in the conference. She was also solid in the field, posting fielding percentages of .937 and .923 in her two years as shortstop.

Murray State (OK) led the way with four players named to the All-American list after finishing the 2023 season with a record of 58-2.
