Trio of Lady Tiger soccer players sign with four-year schools

All-Conference Cowley College women's soccer players, Esther Attwood, Angela Gatto, and Lina Fasquelle recently signed letters of intent to continue their soccer careers at four-year schools.

Fasquelle, who was a Second Team all-conference selection after scoring five goals and adding five assists this past season, signed with NCAA Division I Indiana State University.

Gatto, a co-captain and First Team all-conference selection, scored three goals during the 2022 season and signed with NCAA Division II University of Charleston.

While Attwood, another First Team all-conference selection after recording two goals and five assists this past season, signed with NAIA school Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, IA. Attwood was previously named the January 2023 Cowley College Female Athlete of the Month.

Lady Tiger assistant soccer coach Tanner Brock is pleased to have had an opportunity to coach these three talented student-athletes.

"All three ladies have been such a blessing to work with these past two years," Brock said. "They have been a vital part of the success that we have had here at Cowley. Not only will they be missed, but almost impossible to replace."
