Former Cowley College and MLB star Travis Hafner was inducted into the Kansas Baseball Hall of Fame

Travis Hafner, an All-American member of the 1997 Cowley College JUCO World Series-winning baseball team and a 12-year Major League Baseball veteran, was among those inducted into the Kansas Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 2025 on Saturday in Wichita, KS.

Kaden Berry named Jayhawk Conference Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week

Finishing as the highest NJCAA competitor while placing second in the pole vault at the Wichita State University Coach Wilson Invitational, Cowley College freshman Kaden Berry was recently named the Jayhawk Conference Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.

Tiger track and field athletes continue to shine at WSU and Washburn

Getting numerous national qualifying performances and heat wins on Friday and Saturday, the Cowley College men’s and women’s track and field teams did well while having the majority of its athletes take part in the Wilson Invite at Wichita State University, and a handful of others competed at the Washburn University Open and Multis in Topeka, KS.

Tiger tennis team opens season at No. 8-ranked Washburn University

The Cowley College men’s tennis team opened the 2026 spring tennis season by competing at NCAA Division II Washburn University on Sunday in Topeka, KS. The Tigers found wins hard to come by against the No. 8-ranked Ichabods, but did some good things in the 9-0 loss.
