One of the top hitters to ever put on a Cowley Tiger baseball uniform, Cowley College sophomore centerfielder Bryce Madron recently capped a tremendous career at the school by being named a First Team NJCAA Division I All-American. Madron led the Tigers in nearly every single offensive category as he helped Cowley finish as the national runner-up at the JUCO World Series in Grand Junction, CO.

Facing top-seeded Walters State Community College (TN), the only remaining unbeaten team at the JUCO World Series, the seventh-seeded Cowley College Tigers overcame an early 8-3 deficit to run-rule the Senators 16-8 Thursday at Stocker Stadium’s Sam Suplizio Field in Grand Junction, CO. With the win, Cowley moves within one win of its first World Series title since 1998.
Tigers enact revenge in 10-7 win over Central Florida, advance to final four teams at World Series

Notching 50 wins, conference and region titles, and a trip to the JUCO World Series, the No. eight-ranked Cowley College baseball team had seven players earn all-conference honors. The Tigers also had the Jayhawk Conference Eastern Division Most Valuable Player (Bryce Madron), Pitcher of the Year (Grant Adler), and Darren Burroughs was named Coach of the Year.
