The returning sophomore had a very strong fall season. He was the Central Regional runner-up in both singles and doubles and qualified for the ITA CUP in doubles with partner Omar Suarez, placing third. Gonzalez ended the fall season with a national ranking of No. 6 in singles and No. 3 in doubles.
