Cowley men’s tennis team tames the Threshers 6-1
Returning to action for the first time in three weeks, the No. 7-ranked Cowley College men's tennis team shook off the rust and defeated Bethel College 6-1 on Thursday in Newton, KS.
Cowley won all three doubles matches, and five of six singles matches to earn its first win of the spring.
"I really liked the way our team played," Cowley head coach Marcel Miasato said. "We were able to control most of the matches from start to finish."
Cowley will play at Southeastern Oklahoma State University on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
"We still need to work on a couple of things here and there," Miasato said.
