Two days after opening conference play at Pratt, the nationally ranked Cowley College men’s and women’s tennis teams returned to Arkansas City on Saturday to face Weatherford College in the teams’ first home matches of the season.

After playing a brutal schedule of nationally ranked NCAA Division II and NJCAA Division I schools, the No. 2-ranked Cowley College men’s tennis team hoped things would be a bit easier when facing conference foe Pratt on Thursday. However, the hometown Beavers came out ready to play and defeated the Tigers 5-4.

The nationally ranked Cowley College men’s and women’s tennis teams continued their challenging schedule by playing at NCAA Division II Midwestern State University on Thursday in Wichita Falls, TX. The Lady Tigers lost to the top-ranked Mustangs 6-1, and the Tiger men lost to No. 16-ranked Midwestern State 5-2.
