
Roberts, Louderback leads list of all-conference softball selections
A pair of sophomores on the Cowley College softball team, Shayne Roberts and Emily Louderback, were recently named First Team all-conference selections. The duo were a part of six Lady Tigers to receive all-conference recognition.
Roberts, an outfielder from Norman, OK, is batting .341 with seven home runs, 46 runs batted in, and a team-leading 20 stolen bases. She leads the team in runs scored (55) and has an on-base percentage of .431.
Louderback came to Cowley from Topeka, KS, and was named an all-conference designated player. Louderback is batting .364 with a team-leading 18 home runs and 66 runs batted in. She has also hit 10 doubles and has an on-base percentage of .450.
A trio of Lady Tigers was named Second Team all-conference selections as sophomore infielder Jamie Molina (.364 average. eight home runs, 20 doubles, 59 RBI), freshman infielder Kanon Goji (.403 average, 15 stolen bases), and freshman pitcher Mikah Vann (20-6, 3.09 ERA) were honored for their solid play.
Freshman catcher Harper Hancock was named an honorable mention selection as she is batting .360 with 24 runs batted in and seven stolen bases.
