Louderback named Second Team NFCA All-American
Cowley College sophomore Emily Louderback was one of thirty-six student-athletes from 19 programs who were named 2024 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II All-Americans.
Louderback helped Cowley to a national ranking and a record of 41-17 by batting .347 with 18 home runs and 66 runs batted in.
"This is an awesome award for Emily," Cowley head coach Jenny Hoyts said. "I am proud to see that her hard work paid off. She was an important piece to our lineup and a huge offensive leader for us."
NFCA All-Region and All-America athletes must be nominated by their NFCA-member head coach, voted on by the coaches in their region or division, and ultimately selected by elected NJCAA Division II All-American committee members to receive this prestigious accolade. All special awards are also selected by the All-American committee members or by the entire division.
