A local athlete from Ark City, KS, and a newcomer to the sport, Amoni became an elite shot putter in the state of Kansas. She broke the school record in her first season of competing with a throw of 39'. Evans looks to develop into a top competitor in the women's shot put, 20-pound weight and hammer events.
