Gray and Dapper help lead Lady Tigers to 19th place finish at indoor championships
With sophomores Cierra Gray and Dakota Dapper earning All-American honors, the Cowley College women's track and field team placed 19th at the indoor championships held Friday and Saturday in Lubbock, TX.
Iowa Western won its second straight national title as they edged Barton (114-105) to repeat as champs. New Mexico and Cloud County (KS) finished in third and fourth, respectively, while Odessa (TX) rounded
out the top 5.
Cowley finished in a three-way tie for 19th place with nine points. Gray placed fourth in the shot put, and Dapper finished fifth in the pole vault.
