Bonomi, Papa named KJCCC Division II Volleyball Player/Setter of the Week

The Jayhawk Conference recently recognized Cowley College freshman Laura Bonomi and Lady Tiger sophomore Rossana Papa for their stellar play.

Bonomi, an outside hitter from Italy, was named the Jayhawk Conference Division II Volleyball Player of the Week after recording a second double-double in three matches with a 15-kill, 10-dig performance in a win over Coffeyville. She hit .591 in the victory.

Papa, a setter from Italy, was named the Jayhawk Conference Division II Volleyball Setter of the Week. Papa tallied 27 assists and four digs in a straight-sets victory over Coffeyville. She is currently first in the KJCCC Division II in assists per set and is leading an offense hitting .398.
