Schultz, a 5-foot-9 outside hitter/opposite hitter, prepped at Ulysses High School where she played four seasons of varsity volleyball. In her senior season, she led her team to a 21-16 record and finished league runner-up. During the season, she totaled 255 kills at 2.7 kills per set, 31 aces, 197 digs at 2.1 digs per set, 23 assists, and 53 blocks. read more |

Rosado, a 5-foot-5 libero and defensive specialist, prepped at Radians High School, where she played four seasons of volleyball. There, while playing outside hitter and libero, she was named Most Valuable Player three times and named All-Star three times. Rosado also improved her training while playing for various volleyball clubs. Also during her playing career, she was named All-American. read more |

Lewis, a 5-foot-6 setter/defensive specialist, prepped at Eaglecrest High School where she played for three seasons. In her career, she was named team captain and led her squad to the Region tournament in two seasons. In her senior season, she recorded 181 assists, 144 digs, and 23 service aces along with being named Academic All-State – Honorable Mention and scholar athlete. In her junior season, she recorded 194 assists, 80 digs, and 19 service aces. read more |

Keener, a 5-foot-7 outside/opposite hitter, prepped at Dayton High School where she played four seasons of volleyball. In her career, she was twice named Most Valuable Player, First Team All-District and team captain. In her senior (MVP) season, she totaled 221 kills at 2.5 kills per set, 195 digs at 2.20 digs per set, 44 aces, and 46 blocks. In her Junior (MVP) season, she totaled 197 kills at 2.4 kills per set, 199 digs at 2.4 digs per set, 33 aces and 26 blocks. Nyers, a 6-foot-1 middle hitter, prepped at SZTE Gyakorlo Gimnazium es Altalanos Iskola in Szeged, Hungary. She began playing volleyball in 2011 for Szeged Volleyball and remained there until coming to Cowley. She also competed for the Hungarian national team in 2019 and 2021. In 2019, she led her Hungarian national team to a third place finish in the international tournament. In 2020, she played on two teams for Szeged Volleyball and won third and fourth place in the national tournament. In 2021, her teams finished second and sixth place in the national tournament. For her efforts, she was given the Director's commendation for a national running competition, named best player in the tournament, and other special awards. read more |

Lucrezia “Lu” CeroniCeroni, a 5-foot-9 middle hitter, prepped at Liceo Scientifico Maior and Liceo Leonardo Da Vinci in Pescara, Italy. She began playing volleyball in 2011 at Antoniana Volley, where she remained until the 2018-19 season. During this period, she served as team captain, won the regional finals four times in a row, and went to the national tournament. read more |

Laura BonomiBonomi, a 5-foot-9 outside hitter/opposite hitter, prepped at Liceo Camillo Golgi in Breno, Italy. She began playing volleyball for G.S Ceto-Nadro in 2010 at the age of six. She played for the club until 201,5 when she then began to play for CBL Pallavolo for eight years. During those eight years, Bonomi excelled in the program. In 2016 she was named Best Hitter and Eastern Tournament MVP. read more |

Sara PuskasThe Cowley College volleyball team has signed Sara Puskas from Budapest, Hungary, to begin her college career in the fall of 2023. Puskas, a 6-foot outside hitter/opposite hitter, prepped at XIII. Keruleti Ady Endre Gimnazium in Budapest, Hungary. She began playing volleyball for Hercules in 2015. She led her team to a second-place finish in the United World Games and was named team Most Valuable Player. In 2017, she went to the BVSC-Zuglo club in Budapest, where she was named Most Valuable player in 2017 and 2020. In 2020, her team finished 6th in the U17 Hungarian championships. In 2022, she led her team to a first-place finish in the NB II. She was also awarded the honor of great athlete and great student in 2016 and 2017. read more |

Valarie LunaThe Cowley College volleyball team has signed Valarie Luna of Great Bend, KS, to begin her college career in the fall of 2023. Luna, a 5-foot-8 middle hitter/outside hitter, prepped at Great Bend High School, where she played three seasons of varsity volleyball. In her senior season, she led her team to a 19-15 record, finished in the first round of Kansas Sub-state, and finished second in the conference. During the season, she totaled 196 kills, a .380 hitting percentage, 14 aces, 63 digs, and 100 blocks. She was named Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year (unanimously), First Team WAC All-Conference, and was named one of the top 25 players in Western Kansas to watch in 2022 by the Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA). read more |

Kailea TrinqueThe top ranked Cowley College volleyball team has added Kailea Trinque of Centennial, Colorado, to the roster for the upcoming 2023 season.Trinque, a 5-foot-10 defensive specialist/outside hitter, prepped at Chaparral High School where she played four seasons of volleyball (three at the varsity level). In her senior season, she led her team to a 22-8 record, finished fifth in the Colorado State championships, and finished second in her conference. During the season, she totaled 66 kills, 20 aces, 243 digs, and 33 assists. She was named Colorado Coaches of Girls Sports All-State and played in the All-State match as a libero, named First Team All-league, Academic All-State First Team. read more |

Makenna MurrayMurray, a 5-foot-11 middle hitter, prepped at Sacred Hearts Academy where she played four seasons of volleyball. She helped lead her team to conference title in going undefeated her freshman season. In her senior and junior years, Murray was named all-conference. Murray also participated in club volleyball for the Rainbow Volleyball Club, Hou & Kaimana Volleyball Club and the Del Sol Volleyball Club where she continued her training beyond her high school seasons and for college volleyball preparation. read more |

Anna KissKiss, a 5-foot-10 outside hitter, prepped at Lanczos Kornel Gimnazium in Szekesfehervar, Hungary. She began playing volleyball for Szekefehervat and then, in 2018, went to the UTE team. In 2019, she played for Mav Elore Akademia. In addition to playing for these clubs, she also played for the U16, U17, U19 Hungarian National teams. In 2018, her national team finished 12th in the European championship and finished third in the Mevza tournament. Layane LimaLima, a 5-foot-9 outside hitter, prepped at Externato Rio Branco in Sao Bernardo, Brazil. She began playing volleyball for Sao Bernardo in 2015 where she played until 2020. Lima led her team to a second place finish at Jogos Escolares championship in both 2018 and 2019. She also led her team to a first place finish at Desafio Voleibol Entre Escolas tournament in 2020. From 2017-2020 she was named Most Valuable Player of her league and from 2016-2020 she was named captain of her team. In 2021, she began playing for Diadema. read more |

Sadie KabischKabisch, a 5-foot-4 libero/defensive specialist, prepped at Henrietta High School where she played four seasons of volleyball (three at the varsity level). In her senior season and she led her team to a 30-12 record, won the Bi-District and Area championships. During the season, she totaled 728 digs, 2.6 passer rating, 96 assists, and had 64 aces. Mary InsalacoInsalaco, a 5-foot-3 libero/DS, prepped at North Little Rock High School in North Little Rock, Arkansas where she played four seasons. In her senior year, Insalaco led her team to a to a 17-5 season, qualified for the Class 6A quarterfinal round of the state tournament. and took the 6A Arkansas Central Conference championship. For her efforts she recorded 199 digs at 2.4 digs per set, was named Player of the Match three times, and was a two-time Player of the Week. In her junior year, Insalaco led her team to a 15-15 season and took third in the 6A Arkansas Central Conference. Landry CateCate, a 5-foot-11 middle hitter, prepped at Fountain Lake High School where she played four seasons of volleyball. She helped lead her team to conference titles her sophomore and senior seasons. Her junior season, she led her team to a 3A Arkansas State Volleyball runner-up finish and a conference runner-up finish. In her senior year, Cate was named all-state, all-conference, and has been nominated for the Arkansas Volleyball All-Star game. In her junior season, she was named all-conference and to the all-state tournament team. She was also named the Village Voice newspaper Athlete of the Week during her sophomore, junior and senior seasons. In her high school volleyball career, she recorded 693 kills, 96 aces, 101 blocks, and 256 digs. Cate also participated in club volleyball for the 501, Little Rock Juniors, and Saline County Chaos volleyball clubs where she continued her training beyond her high school seasons and for college volleyball preparation. read more |

Gyongyver AraczkiAraczki, a 5-foot-9 middle hitter, prepped at Balatonfüredi Szent Benedek Középiskola és Kollégium in Balatonfüred, Hungary. She began playing volleyball for Bekescabai RSE Club in A1 HUN in 2011 and played for the program until 2019. In 2020, she began playing for Szent Benedek Roplabda Akademia Club in A1 HUN. In addition to playing for these clubs, she also played for the U17 Hungarian National team. Rossana PapaPapa, a 5-foot-11 setter, prepped at Liceo Scientifico A. Calini in Brescia, Italy. Having a stellar career in her home country, she now brings her experience to Cowley. In 2015, she was selected a provincial selection of Brescia. From 2017-2019 she played for Promoball VBF – Flero (Brescia) C series, where she was a Provincial Champion and served as a team captain. Sydney UnruhUnruh, a 5-foot-3 libero/defensive specialist, prepped at Great Bend High School where she played four seasons on the varsity team. In her senior year, Unruh led her team to a to a 20-11 season, qualified for the Class 5A quarterfinal round of the state tournament (finishing eighth in the state tournament), Kansas Sub-State Champions, and took second in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) championship round-robin. For her efforts she was named WAC Player of the Year, placed on the Under Armour Watch List, and was an All-WAC first-team selection with her recording a 2.78 passer rating while compiling 514 digs at 6.9 digs per set and 62 assists. read more |

Rachele TessariRachele Tessari, a 5-foot-9 outside/opposite hitter, prepped at Liceo Statale Guarino Veronese in San Bonifacio, Italy. In volleyball, she began playing for the top volleyball clubs in her region when she was 15 years old. Tessari began playing for EST Volley who selected only the top players of every city. read more |

Laci BeougherLaci Beougher, a 6-foot outside hitter, prepped at Circle High School in Towanda, Kansas where she played three seasons. She helped lead her team to a sub-state championship and a third place finish in the Kansas 4A State Championship Tournament in 2019. In her senior year, Beougher was named 4A Kansas Volleyball Association All-State Honorable Mention and AVCTL First Team All-League with her recording 264 kills at 4.2 kills per set, a .393 kill percentage, and 117 digs. Her 4.2 kills per set ranked her sixth in Classes 4A, 5A, and 6A for kills per set. Also, her 4.2 kills per set ranks her in the top 10 in the state of Kansas in kills per set. Her junior year, she recorded 248 kills and was named Chisholm Trail League Honorable Mention. read more |

Gracie Story5-foot-7 setterHometown: Holliday, Texas Prepped at Holliday High School in Holliday, Texas where she played for four seasons. In her career, she led her team to the playoffs all four of her years and reached the Regional Quarterfinals, won the District Championship, won the Bi-District Championships, and won the Area Championships in both her freshmen and junior years. In her junior year she was named MVP server and in her senior year she was named All-State, First Team All-District, and TRN (regional area) Volleyball Player of the Week. Her senior year, she totaled 204 kills, 630 assists, 548 digs, 65 blocks, and 47 aces. Off the court, she also competed in track where she participated in the high jump. She was a regional qualifier in the high jump her junior year while also leading her team to the District Championships that year. She was also successful in the classroom by being named Academic All-District all four years and was named Academic All-State her senior year. |

Katie Morrison5-foot-10 middle hitter/opposite hitterHometown: Benton, Arkansas Prepped at Benton High School in Benton, Arkansas. She helped lead her team to league titles her junior and senior seasons and also, in her senior season, led her team to the Arkansas 5A State Tournament where her team finished in second place. During her career, she was named All-Conference and served as team captain for the program. Morrison started as a setter and when the need arose to change positions, she embraced it and made the move to middle hitter. Off the court, she joined a training program to increase her vertical, athleticism, and technique for the switch to middle hitter. She also joined the Saline County Chaos and 501 Volleyball Club volleyball programs to enhance her skills. |

In her junior year, she led her team to the 18U 6A Silver Ball National Championship, Texas State runner-up, Gold South Central Region first place, Kansas City second place Gold, Little Rock Spikefest second place, Volley in the Valley first place, and Lonoke second place Gold. In her senior year, she led her team to the 18U 4A Gold Ball National Champions, Undisputed National Champion runner-up, Texas State runner-up, South Central Regional first place Gold, Kansas City first place Gold, Sheridan High School invitational first Gold, Little Rock Spikefest second in silver, and Volley in the Valley first place silver. Her individual honors include her being named Offensive Player of the Year for the South Central Region, named All-State three times, and named MVP five times. In her senior season, she had 345 kills at 3.25 kills per set, hit a .282 hitting percentage, hit a .442 kill percentage, and added 59 aces. |

Bethania Barreto5-foot-10 middle hitterHometown: Uberaba, Brazil Prepped at Colegio Nacional in Uberaba, Brazil. She began playing for Uberaba in 2016 and continued until the end of 2017. After her 2017 season, her family moved to Uberlandia, Brazil and she began playing for Praia Clube, one of the best teams in the country. In 2018, she led her team to first place in the regional school championship and second place in the Minas Gerais Student Games. In 2019, she led her team to a first place regional school championship, second place in the Minas Gerais Student Games, third place in the Metropolitan Game sub-19, and fifth place in the Brazilian Championship Interclub. |

In playing volleyball, she began playing in 2015 for the Circulo Militar do Parana club and continued playing for the club until 2020. In 2015, while playing for the club, her team won second place at the OLESC, second place at the JESC. In 2016, her club won first place at Taca Curitiba, second place at regionals, second place at the Jogos Escolares de Curitiba and third place at the Jogos Escolares de Curitiba. In 2017, her club won first place in round one of the Volleyball Grand Prix, second place in the third round of the Volleyball Grand Prix, second place at the International Volleyball tournament, second place in the Parana Volleyball League, and second place at regionals. In 2018, her club won first place in the Paranaense Championship, second place in the Parana Volleyball League, and first place at the Jogos da Juventude. In her senior season, she totaled 228 digs at 2.6 digs per set and totaled 16 aces. Thompson improved her training by being invited to train in the USA Volleyball High Performance A3 Training Program in 2017 and 2019. Also, in 2019, she enhanced her training at the USA Volleyball Delta Region High Performance Training Camp where she was honored as Best Defensive Player among many talented athletes. Outside of her high school training and her USA volleyball training, Thompson trained with Saline County Club, Little Rock Juniors, and 501 Volley national volleyball club. |

She began playing volleyball in 2012 for the MKS Gala Skar?ysko city club and continued playing for the club until 2016. In 2016, she began playing for KSZO Ostrowiec which won championships in 2017,2018, and 2019. The 2018 and 2019 championships resulted in undefeated seasons. Szymanska also began attending the School of Sports Championships (SMS) in Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski which was the top ranked high school volleyball in the Swietokrzyskie voivodeship. |

Valentina Martinez5-foot-5 setter/defensive specialistHometown: San Antonio, Texas Prepped at Southwest High School in San Antonio, Texas. She played between the 2014-2018 seasons at Southwest High School in San Antonio, Texas. Serving as an outside hitter/setter for her high school, she helped lead her team to two district titles in 2015 and 2016. In her senior year, Martinez was named Texas District 58-5A Setter of the Year, First Team All-District, and team captain. She was also named Second Team All-District her freshman and sophomore years. Her senior year, she totaled 290 kills, 493 assists, 158 digs, 12 blocks, and 58 aces. During her career, Martinez totaled 1,186 assists, 154 aces, 734 digs, and 644 kills. |

Caitie Lockett5-foot-11 outside hitter/middle hitterHometown: Buena Vista, Colorado Prepped at Buena Vista High School. where she played four seasons of volleyball. She helped lead her team to a league championship and a state tournament appearance in 2017 and a record of 45-29 over those three years. As a senior, Lockett earned All-Conference, Tri-Peaks League Honorable-Mention, and an All-State nominee. Bray enters Cowley this semester and will begin playing for Cowley in the fall of 2019. During her senior year, tallied 196 kills averaging 2.64 kills per set, 56 digs, 23 blocks, 11 aces, and hit a .352 kill percentage. During her three year varsity career, Lockett recorded a .304 kill percentage, 343 kills, 23 assists, 44 aces, 119 blocks, and 128 digs. |

Stephanie Bray6-foot opposite hitter/middle hitterHometown: Frisco, Texas Prepped at Liberty (Texas) High School and McKinney Christian Academy (Texas). Transferring to Cowley from NCAA Division II Northwestern Oklahoma State University. While at NWOSU, she helped her team to their third Great American Conference tournament appearance in program history. The team posted an 18-14 overall record and a conference record of 7-9, placing them as an eight seed in the GAC tournament. Bray enters Cowley this semester and will begin playing for Cowley in the fall of 2019. In her senior season in high school, she led her team to a 30-8 record an Area 5A championship, and the third round of the Texas high school playoffs. She was awarded team Most Valuable player and Most Improved player for the program. In her junior season, she led her team to a District championship and an Area 5A championship. She was awarded First Team All-District, Newcomer of the Year, and All State Academic. |

Iva Halacheva6-foot-1 outside/opposite hitterHometown: Plovdiv, Bulgaria Prepped at Vasil Levski in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Halacheva will enter Cowley this fall as a freshmen and will major in business management. In playing volleyball, she played for VC Maritza Plovdiv, since 2010, which is considered to be one of the top three volleyball programs in Bulgaria. She led her team to first place in the Bulgarian Cup, first place in the Bulgarian Women?s Championship, and first place in the Youth Girls U17 of Bulgaria in 2014. In 2015, she led her team to a first place finish in the Bulgarian Women?s Championship, second place in the Bulgarian Cup and winner of the Bulgarian Super Cup. In 2017, she led her team to first place in Youth Girls U17 of Bulgaria. In personal awards, she was named best spiker for U13 and U15 twice, named captain of the team from 2011 to present, named MVP of U17 for the team in 2016-17 season and MVP of the U19 tournament. |

Julian Eaton5-foot-3 libero/defensive specialistHometown: Arkansas City, Kansas Prepped at at Arkansas City High School where she played three seasons of volleyball. In her senior season, she totaled 15 kills, 23 aces, 610 digs at 7 digs per set while being awarded AVCTL Division II Honorable Mention honors and serving as captain. Eaton also improved her training while playing for Cowley Juniors volleyball club (2013-2015) and the ICT Mavs volleyball club. For ICT Mavs she helped lead her team to a final ranking of 16 in the Heart of America region, a 56-21 record, a fifth place finish (out of 91 teams) at the Nike Mideast Qualifier, and a ninth place finish at the Regional Championship. Off the court, Eaton has been named Miss Parkerfield (2018) in a contest conducted by Parkerfield, Kansas. |

Cora Vineyard5-foot-10 outside hitter/middle hitterHometown: Argonia, Kansas Prepped at Argonia High School where she played four seasons of volleyball She helped lead her team to league titles her junior and senior seasons. In her senior year, Vineyard was named All League First Team, Captain and is still waiting for the announcement of the All-State award. In her junior season, she was named All-League First Team, All-State First Team, and team captain. She was also named to the Topeka Capitol-Journal?s All-Star Prep?s team where she was recognized for her volleyball efforts for 2017 at the All Star Preps Awards Banquet. In her sophomore season, she was named All-League First Team and All State Honorable Mention. In her senior season, she recorded 371 kills at 4.4 kills per set, a hitting percentage of .402, a .480 kill percentage, 37 aces, and 176 digs at 2.1 digs per set, and averaged 0.70 blocks per set. In her junior year, she recorded 335 kills, a .366 hitting percentage, a .461 kill percentage, 72 blocks, 288 digs, and 30 aces. Off the volleyball court, Vineyard also participated in basketball and track at Argonia High School. She was a three-year varsity basketball post player and runner for the track team, where she was also awarded for great play. |

Kate Pani Defensive Specialist Hometown: Fulton, Missouri Prepped at Fulton High School where she played four seasons of volleyball. She was named First Team NCMC All-Conference four times, First Team All-District four times, All-Region three times, Rookie of the Year (freshmen year), Fulton High School volleyball MVP three times, Academic All-State four times, Fulton Tournament All-Tournament team four times, and was named team captain three times. Off the court, Pani also participated in track at Fulton High School. She was a four-year varsity athlete where she was named All-NCMC twice, All-District twice, All-Sectional twice, and served as team captain (her senior season is currently ongoing). |

Hannah Vanriette Middle Hitter Hometown: Blue Springs, Missouri Prepped at prepped at Blue Springs High School in Blue Springs, Missouri. She helped lead her team a district title in 2015. In her senior year, Vanriette was named Blue Springs volleyball team Most Valuable Player, First Team All-Conference (Suburban Big Seven), Examiner All-Area First Team, All-District First Team, was selected to the MO-KAN All-Star team, and was named All State Academic. In her junior year, Vanriette was named to the Examiner All-Area Second Team and in her sophomore year, she was named Most Valuable Player of her team. Off the court, Vanriette was named to the honor roll four times and also participated in club volleyball for the Invasion volleyball club where she continued her training beyond her high school seasons and for college volleyball preparation. |

Caroline Foster Setter Hometown: Blue Springs, Missouri Prepped at prepped at Blue Springs High School in Blue Springs, Missouri. In her senior year, Foster was named Blue Springs High School Volleyball Player of the Year, Examiner All-Area Second Team, All-Conference Second Team, All-State Academic, team captain, and was selected to the MO-KAN All-Star team. She was ranked #13 in Missouri in total assists in Class 4, was ranked #30 among all setters in Missouri, was ranked #14 in assists per set in Class 4, and was ranked #38 among all setters in assists per set. Off the court, Foster was a member of the National Honor Society and the Truman Heartland Foundation Youth Advisory Council. |

Nicole Fernandez Outside Hitter Hometown: Catano, Puerto Rico Prepped at Colegio jardin de la Merced High School. Played for Same Level Volleyball. In 2015, she led her team to six invitational tournament wins and finished fourth in the volleyball national cup tournament. In 2016 and 2017, her teams finished in the top eight in the highest cup level in school volleyball. Off the court, Fernandez served as President of her graduating class and was also named leader of the Volleyball Sport Committee. |

Elina Zlateva Hitter Prepped at PG Agriculture and Food Technology in Shumen, Bulgaria. Played for Kazauluk Volley and led them to a third place finish in the Bulgarian Championship (U20), fourth place in the Cornacchia World Cup (U20) in Italy, and sixth place in the World Schools Championship in Serbia. |
