
Volleyball championship ring ceremony set for April 5
Capturing its fourth national title in program history, the Cowley College volleyball team will be presented with national championship rings during a ceremony planned for Saturday, April 5, at 10 a.m. in the Robert Brown Theater. The celebration is free to attend and open to the public.
Along with the presentation of the national championship rings, individuals will have an opportunity to meet and visit with the Lady Tiger players and coaches. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

The Lady Tigers accomplished numerous feats throughout the 2024 season, including the first back-to-back undefeated national championships in NJCAA history and the third undefeated season in NJCAA history. The 2024 team posted the best winning percentage (1.000) in school history, posted the third most wins by a Cowley volleyball team (40), won the conference championship by being unbeaten in the KJCCC Eastern Division (10-0), and won the Plains A District championship.
Cowley volleyball has four national championships (tied for second all-time in the NJCAA DII), 16 appearances in the NJCAA DII national tournament (third all-time in NJCAA DII), and in the past four seasons has a 162-6 record with a national runner-up finish, sixth place finish, and two national championships.
