Suied nabs Runner of the Week honors for second time

Having recently won her second race of the season, Cowley College sophomore Lubna Suied was named the NJCAA Division II Female Cross Country Athlete of the Week while also being named the Jayhawk Conference Cross Country Women's Runner of the Week for the second time this year.

Suied took charge of the Red Devil Relays early and cruised to a 53-second victory. Suied, from Tomball, Texas, posted a 5,000-meter time of 19:09 and helped the NJCAA Division II top-ranked Lady Tigers to a third-place team finish.
