Bio

Blake Smith begins his second year as the Tigers’ head athletic trainer after spending the prior seven years as the school’s assistant athletic trainer. Smith graduated from Dexter High School in 2011 and attended Cowley College’s Athletic Training Program for two years.

He graduated from Southwestern College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. Smith then received his Master’s from Pittsburg State University with a Health and Human Performance degree in 2019.  He was the recipient of the Integrity Healthcare Professionals Life Saver of the Month Award and the Cowley College Lifesaving CPR Award due to saving the life of an athlete in 2020.
