Burnham ties pole-vault record; Tiger track teams compete at Ichabod Invitational

Led by freshman Ke’Mauria Burnham, who tied the school record in the women’s pole vault, the nationally ranked Cowley College women’s and men’s indoor track and field teams got in a final tune-up before the Region Championships by competing at the Washburn University Ichabod Invitational on Friday and Saturday in Topeka, KS.

Finishing five points better than Northeast Oklahoma A&M, the No. 10-ranked Cowley College wrestling squad placed first out of 12 teams while capturing its first-ever South Central District title on Saturday in Pratt, KS.

Playing a pair of ranked teams and a pair of struggling squads, the No. 18-ranked Cowley College softball team went 2-2 at its season-opening tournament played at the Texoma Health Foundation Park in Dennison, TX.
