Trey DeGarmo signs with Fort Hays State

Once a Tiger, always a Tiger

Once the 2022 spring season comes to an end Cowley College sophomore Trey DeGarmo will head off to play for another set of Tigers in Fort Hays State University. DeGarmo made the announcement official with his signing on Tuesday.

DeGarmo, who was a three-sport athlete at Andover Central High School, helped Cowley win a fourth straight conference title and qualify for the JUCO World Series in Grand Junction, CO during the 2021 season.

As a freshman at Cowley, DeGarmo batted .349 with three home runs and 21 runs batted in.

The No. 7-ranked Tigers will open the 2022 season Friday at Northeast Texas Community College. The doubleheader in Mount Pleasant, TX will begin at 1 p.m.
