Tiger cross-country squads named to the USTFCCCA XC All-Academic Teams
Coming off eighth-place national finishes, the Cowley College men's and women's cross country teams were recently recognized for excellence in the classroom as they were named All-Academic Teams for the 2024 season by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The Lady Tigers achieved a grade point average of 3.76, and the Tiger men finished with a GPA of 3.47.
"This is something we strive for every year," Cowley head coach Cameron Rieth said. "Kudos to our student-athletes. They put in the work and want to excel at everything they do."
Members of the Lady Tiger cross-country team are Pauline Althoff, Alivia Bacon, Lili-Rose Breheret, Dayanna Brito-Hernandez, Savannah Fischer, Daniela Lozano-Cardenas, Mariana Lozano-Cardenas, Kayli Myers, and Dhennifer Vaz.
Tiger men's cross country team members are Pedro Balenstrini, Esteban Boisseau, Miquel Cruz, Deshawn Douglas, Manuel Leos, Izaiah Olivas, Alexis Realland, Kevin Rivas-Guillen, Elijah Roberts, Randy Rojas-Mendez, and Conner Walker.
