Head Coach Steven Gream had this to say about the weekend series. "In both matches, we put a lot of pressure on them with our strong serve and balanced attack with all of our hitters. You could tell, defensively, that we had not played in a week but the longer we went the cleaner it got and our offense did the rest. Rossana (Papa) did a fantastic job distributing the ball and allowed us to get a ton of open looks from all of our hitters. Laci (Beougher) had a fantastic weekend hitting over .420 in both matches along with Iva (Halacheva) but our other hitters also hit well to allow our offense to flow freely. All of our players contributed to the wins, including Maddy (Pitts), who played her first match of the season and got her first kill of 2021. We started slow but I was proud of how we cleaned it up the longer we played."

Up next for Cowley will be a KJCCC Conference match, on the road, against Labette Community College, Wednesday, October 13. Visiting fans are not permitted for the contest, but live stream will be provided on the KJCCC Network.
