Coach’s Comments: "Sadie is a strong and intelligent DS/Libero with much experience and exceptional ball control. She possesses a high volleyball IQ, passion for the game, great reading skills, high confidence and strong serve receive skills to provide our setters with a quality pass. Her aggressive but smooth play on defense, has that 'wow factor' that all programs search for in a DS/libero." 

 

2022 (Freshmen): Played in 139 sets...recorded 180 digs at 1.29 digs per set, 15 assists, and 2 service aces. 

 

Before Cowley: Prepped at Henrietta High School where she played four seasons of volleyball (three at the varsity level). In her senior season and she led her team to a 30-12 record, won the Bi-District and Area championships. During the season, she totaled 728 digs, 2.6 passer rating, 96 assists, and had 64 aces. For her efforts, she was named Texas Sports Writer Association (TSWA) All-State, Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) All-State, TGCA All-Star Legacy team, TRN Diamond Dozen team, named District Most Valuable Defense, and named Oil Bowl All-Star game participant. In her junior season, she led her team to a 24-8 record and took her team to Bi-District, Area, and Regional Quarterfinal championships. For her efforts, she was named team captain, TSWA All-State Honorable Mention, TGCA All-State, All-District MVP libero, Red River Diamond Dozen player, and Academic All-District. Kabisch recorded 726 digs, 2.6 passer rating, 87 assists, and had 60 aces. In her sophomore season, she led her team to a 24-18, took her team to Bi-District and Area Championships. For her efforts, she was named TGCA All-State, All-Distict MVP Libero, Team MVP, and Academic All-District. Kabisch recorded 818 digs, 2.5 passer rating, 50 assists, and had 57 aces. In her three year varsity career, she totaled 2,272 digs, a 2.5 passer rating, 233 assists, and 181 aces. Also, outside of her high school training, Kabisch trained with ZIVA and WVC Clubs where she enhanced her skills to prepare herself for the college level.
