Hardworking and disciplined athlete who is growing every day. Has made great strides since the start of the year to better himself. Benjamin will help the team on the Regional level along with the Conference level of competition and has the potential to be a national qualifier in the 60m, 100m, 200m, and will assist the team in the 4 x 100m and 4 x 400m.

Cowley College sophomore Diego Andres-Dougan highlighted the list of Tiger athletes competing this past weekend at the Wichita State University KT Woodman Classic. Andres-Dougan placed seventh in the 110-meter hurdles with a school-record time of 14.52. Andres-Dougan previously shared the school-record time of 14.57 with Bryan Jasmin.

The nationally ranked Cowley College men and women’s track and field teams took its largest squads of the season to compete at the Shocker Spring Invite held Friday and Saturday in Wichita, KS.

With the Jayhawk Conference/Region VI Indoor Track and Field Championships approaching this weekend in Pittsburg, KS, the Tiger track and field teams got in a final tune up at the Seventh Annual Gorilla Indoor Classic held Saturday at the Robert W. Plaster Center in Pittsburg.

Already the school-record holder in the indoor and outdoor 5,000-meter run, Cowley College sophomore Adrian Diaz-Lopez continued to etch his name into the history books as he broke the school-record in the mile-run held Saturday at the Washburn University All-Kansas Meet in Topeka, KS.

The Cowley College men and women’s indoor track and field teams are excited about the upcoming season as they have added some talented freshmen to go along with several returning athletes. The Tiger indoor track and field teams will open the season Saturday at the Washburn University Rust Buster in Topeka, KS.
